Hi folks. Here's an interesting tidbit I just learned but am having trouble with:
You can place a MSword doc and it will display as formated text only, not like a pdf which looks like its on a piece of paper. When you want to place multiple pages, create a New>Doc in InDesign and select the "Master Text Frame" box option next to # of pages. Then, when you place, hold the shift key in when you click on the blank indd. Voila!
Now here's my problem, it seems to work for the first 15 pages, but I'm trying to place about 25 or 30 pages. The text "auto-flows" right through until page 15, then I get the text box with the little red plus sign in the bottom right corner, indicating more text than can be revealed.
Why oh why won't it just keep going? I made the indd 50 pages long cuz I'll be adding lots more. Any idea what's going on?
