I've just joined this tribe and I do use InDesign. But, I use PageMaker a lot more. I didn't find a tribe for PageMaker users. Does such a tribe exist? In other words, am I going blind?! ;-)))))))))))

Re: PageMaker
Sun, August 3, 2008 - 1:50 AMThat's what I was gonna say.
I would move on from PageMaker.
InDesign has taken over. -

Re: PageMaker
Sun, August 3, 2008 - 10:54 AMAwww...I feel nostalgic for PageMaker! Although, whenever I take a contract/temp position these days, it's (almost) always InDesign. The last time I used PageMaker (aside from my own work) on a job site was for a National Public Radio affiliate and that was only about a year and a half ago. So, in a few obscure areas, PageMaker is still being used.
I guess I should've searched Tribe for 'Passe PageMaker' tribes...;-)))))))))))))))))) -

Re: PageMaker
Sun, August 3, 2008 - 7:19 PMYa got that, Andrew. I started with Quark 2, back in the dawn of dust. I would never have guessed in a million years that I'd move over to InDesign like I have. It's a BEEYOOOTIFUL program. I haven't used my Quark 7 enough to even know how much it's improved. I'd already pretty much moved on. -

Re: PageMaker
Mon, August 4, 2008 - 12:14 AMYeah InDesign is graceful & intuitive.
Also ID being an Adobe product keeps the workflow
between Photoshop & Illustrator into InDesign very smooth.
